Sometimes the applications that are hardest to classify are also the most challenging. Take snow groomers for example, which operate at high altitudes and are exposed to a harsh climate that can change dramatically throughout the day. When the slopes get too steep, these vehicles - weighing several tons - need to be able to pull themselves smoothly up the hill using a winch. The heavy blade that moves the snow needs to be positioned with millimeter accuracy. And all these features are operated by the driver sitting comfortably in his cabin and pushing a button here or tilting a joystick there.
