Vision is a multi-purpose electronic solution for cockpit
visualization for automotive and off-highway equipment.
It is suited for use in vehicles and machines that run in
harsh environments and at extreme operating temperatures
of -40 °C to +70 °C.
The unit provides both a Low Voltage Differential Signaling
interface (LVDS) and a PAL/NTSC interface and is therefore
adapted for the control of various display types ranging
from 5 black/white to 10.4 color LCDs.
Vision provides an economical platform for rapid development
of graphical solutions. The package includes a variety of
prefabricated elements such as bar charts or menu blocks
that can easily be integrated with the application.

The programming of graphic elements is supported by the
standard CoDeSys tool.
The programming system itself contains an integrated visualization
that allows the development of visualization masks in one
and the same user interface. The visualization information
can be turned into IEC 61131-3 code, downloaded to Vision
and shown on the display.
The CANopen functionality can also be achieved through
CoDeSys. In addition, drivers and documentation are available
for the programming in C. The unit's operation system is
embedded Linux.
The Vision display controller is part of the eVision 10.4, a robust and compact monitor for off-road vehicles
