TTP-Monitoring Node is a TTP-Ethernet gateway node. Based
on the AS8202NF controller, it provides powerful facilities
for monitoring and download in a TTP network. The controller
supports two bus interfaces. One is synchronous (MII - 25
Mbit/s) and the other is asynchronous (MFM - 5 Mbit/s).
TTP-Monitoring Node is connected to a computer via Ethernet
(100Base-TX). It supports a standard TCP/IP connection to
the computer on which TTP-Load runs. TTP-Load is used for
downloading software to a TTP cluster. TTP-View monitors
an operating TTP network. Both TTP-Load and TTP-View can
communicate with the embedded software of TTP-Monitoring
Node via TCP/Il.
TTP-Monitoring Node uses an embedded real-time Linux variant
and can therefore be adapted very easily for specific applications.
In addition, TTP-Monitoring Node is equipped with a PCMCIA
card interface for user-specific applications.
