Mid-size Electronic Control Units
The cost-effective, high-performance HY-TTC 50 electronic control unit family is targeted towards applications that need to function reliably under harsh environmental conditions. The electronic circuits are well protected by a compact, automotive-style aluminium pressure die-cast housing. In more demanding applications, several electronic control units can be interconnected via CAN bus to form a network. The units are programmed either in C or in CODESYS®.
The architecture of the HY-TTC 50 combines the advantages of a competitive general purpose control unit with specific customer requirements. A small daughter board allows enhancing the features of the standard product with customer-specific resources. This board has access to the free pins on the connector and can communicate via a serial bus with the CPU on the main board. In addition to the features of HY-TTC 50, the HY-TTC 60 has 512 kB external RAM and eight analog inputs that can be configured for different voltages in the range of 0-30 V.
The HY-TTC 94 is the top-level electronic control unit of the HY-TTC 50 controller family, offering enhanced flexibility and safety. It is certified by TÜV Nord to comply with the IEC 61508 and ISO/EN 13849 international standards. It comprises a main CPU, for executing the user application and a smaller diagnostic CPU, which continuously monitors the main CPU and the safety-critical inputs and outputs. In case an error is detected, an internal switch opens, disconnecting all output stages from power supply and shifting the vehicle to a safe state. With HY-TTC 90, TTControl offers also a version of the HY-TTC 94 with 2 instead of 4 CAN channels.
