Snow Groomers
TTControl has played an important role in an innovative
development project conducted with Prinoth
AG. Prinoth offers the world's most complete range of
oversnow vehicles and groomers. These products are engineered
to the very highest standards.. Prinoth's next generation
of high-performance snow groomers, named "Leitwolf",
is the outcome of their successful collaboration.
| A TTControl five-unit network is used
in the "Leitwolf". A TTC 20 box controls the
driving system and the overhead winch. Three TTC 10
boxes control the rear snow tiller, the front rake blade,
and the entire on-board instrumentation of the snow
groomer. A TTC Vision control unit is the "master"
of one of the three CAN networks on the vehicle, and
additionally drives the 14 cm (5.5") color display
of the graphic user interface. |

The system has three command keyboards, a central color
display for viewing, control lights for monitoring the vehicle,
and a joystick-hand control for the hydraulic subsystems.
The joystick-hand control combines all functions of the
front rake blade and the rear snow tiller. A special toggle
button allows correcting the minimum and maximum tractive
power of the winch in critical situations.
