TTControl’s highlights in 2022

We are family: TTControl introduces the TTC 2030 and TTC 2300 ECU families The growing TTC 2000 series consists of compatible ECU families of different sizes, but they have one thing in common: They all use the same modular building blocks, ensuring that the right number of interfaces and the right amount of processing power is available for each mobile machine application. This significantly reduces time-to-market and maintenance for the vehicle manufacturers, enabling them to future-proof their machines. Furthermore, their robustness, high ingress protection rating and resistance to extreme temperatures – from -40 to +85°C – allows operators of […]

Remote diagnosis and monitoring made easy

Buying mobile machines is no longer just about high quality or individual machine functions. Today, buyers of premium machines also expect a comprehensive digital offering with a corresponding gain in efficiency. On the other hand, machine manufacturers secure their competitiveness with their own offering and often even reduce their service costs. The example of Bulmor and TTControl shows that this type of solution does not necessarily require a great deal of effort or investment. The Austrian multi-way side loader manufacturer Bulmor was looking for a telematics solution that could be used immediately without any additional technical effort. This was […]

TTControl helps shorten time-to-market with ISO 26262-compliant application development

TTControl has recently received ISO 26262 certification from TÜV Nord for its software development processes. Vehicles using application software developed by TTControl thus meet the process requirements for a high level of road safety up to Automotive Safety Integrity Level D (ASIL D). Vehicle manufacturers, therefore, have to invest significantly less time and effort in the certification process for mobile machinery. ISO 26262 compliance is mandatory for vehicle control unit functions for example for municipal vehicles, trucks and busses. “As our electronic control units have been certified, our application development processes follow. We offer a certified quality standard for […]

Expert article: IoT is easy — with a turnkey solution for the off-highway market

Integrating a telematics solution into a mobile machine has always been a challenge. The reasons seem obvious: it’s difficult and complex to choose the right cloud technology and gateway device as well as a connectivity solution that works everywhere. Especially if you want to keep costs under control and risks low. This interview was originally published at iVT Industrial Vehicle Technology International The emerging off-highway market benefits from versatile teams Valentin Ecker, IoT product manager at TTControl, argues that the complexity also has historical reasons: “Partial solution providers tend to specialize in completely different areas and have little insight into […]

Leading Off-Highway companies establish Autonomous Operation Cluster (AOC)

Ammann, PALFINGER, Prinoth, Rosenbauer and TTControl collaborate on application-oriented solutions as part of the now initiated Autonomous Operation Cluster (AOC). The multinational companies will jointly develop key technologies for autonomous operation elements for series production of mobile machinery functions and off-highway vehicles. The aim is to accelerate the development of advanced assistance functions through collaboration to ease operators’ jobs and increase productivity, efficiency and safety in a wide range of industries around the globe. „Together, we will lay the foundation for the next generation of automation and autonomy capabilities in the mobile machinery and off-highway industries,” says Roberto Ferrari, […]

First of its kind: future-proof TTC 2300 family of ECUs launched

TTControl arranged a virtual product launch event to present the TTC 2300 family, its latest generation of electronic control units (ECUs) for vehicle manufacturers. This now available ECU family is the first member of TTControl’s complete and scalable TTC 2000 series designed to meet the needs of automated and smart off-highway vehicles and mobile machines. High processing power, high-speed connectivity and a large memory make these robust ECUs the ideal choice for advanced electronic architectures and future automation and assistance systems. They are designed for use in rugged operating environments and operate under harsh conditions and extreme temperatures. “The TTC 2300 family […]

PRINOTH and TTControl reduced time to market through Continuous Delivery

PRINOTH announced the new generation of its best-selling snow groomers, the LEITWOLF and the BISON. The electronics in high-tech snow vehicles must not only withstand extreme temperature fluctuations, ice and frost, but also meet highest requirements in terms of usability. An international team was assembled to design a state-of-the-art cabin that combines the highest standards of user-friendliness and design. Thanks to Continuous Delivery, TTControl ensured a shorter time to market and made the UX Design Award-nominated cockpit possible. The initial vision was to make the machine’s complex work processes easy to control. The new PRINOTH Control Unit was to […]
