- Key innovation activities are driven by the team in Brixen.
Brixen/Bressanone, Italy, July 14, 2026: Founded in 2001, TTCONTROL is a joint venture of TTTECH and HYDAC, with locations in Brixen/Bressanone (Italy) and Vienna (Austria). For 25 years, the company has supported customers worldwide with electronic control systems and application software for off highway vehicles and other mobile machinery.
From its beginnings as a small engineering team, TTCONTROL has grown steadily by consistently focusing on quality, reliability and long term customer relationships. Operating in an international environment, the company combines global reach with strong roots in South Tyrol, which serves as an innovation hub for TTCONTROL. This includes advanced application development and addresses topics such as AI-based environment perception, sensor fusion, and autonomous machine functions.
Today, TTCONTROL works with leading OEMs in different sectors – from agriculture to construction, municipal, and special vehicles - both in Italy and around the world. Among these are many longtime customers and market leaders in their segments such as Prinoth / Leitner Group (special vehicles), Ammann (construction), HORSCH, ROPA (agriculture), PALFINGER (material handling) and Rosenbauer (municipal).
TTCONTROL has experienced significant and sustainable growth, especially in the past five years. From 2020 to 2026, the company’s revenue has tripled. This growth reflects long-term customer trust, strong technological positioning, and TTCONTROL’s ability to support customers through increasing system complexity and digitalization in the off highway sector.
Roberto Ferrari, Managing Director of TTControl Srl, was TTCONTROL’s first employee and still leads the office in Brixen. He confirms that South Tyrol and Italy continue to play a particularly important role in TTCONTROL’s development and customer landscape:
“We have strong ties to South Tyrol – it's where TTCONTROL was founded. Key innovation activities remain focused in Brixen – from our own Application Development Center to R&D clusters with partners and customers, and we are committed to further growing the location in Brixen.”
A strong ecosystem, long-term partnerships, and collaboration in the Autonomous Operations Cluster (AOC) and Covision Lab - both co-founded by TTCONTROL - keep the company at the forefront of technology. Key focus areas include autonomy and AI integration in off-highway applications, enabling precision farming, advanced operator assistance, and safe autonomous operations. TTCONTROL also has proven expertise in functional safety, along with the latest connectivity and cybersecurity capabilities.
“At TTCONTROL, we develop innovative solutions with and for our customers. We make sure that large, complex, and heavy off-highway machinery such as snow groomers, excavators, or tractors operate efficiently and safely. We look to the future and develop solutions that implement physical AI and machine learning that bring value to the market and our customers,” explains Roberto Ferrari.
As a full-service supplier for off-highway OEMs, TTCONTROL provides complete hardware and software solutions, from ECUs and displays to IoT solutions and high-performance computing platforms. The Application Development Center (ADC) offers customers over 20 years of experience in developing application software, upgrading machinery, and integrating emerging AI-driven technologies.
TTCONTROL is looking towards the future, with a clear focus on the integration of assisting and autonomous functions into its offering for the off-highway market and a hiring initiative to expand the Brixen office to be ready for the next decades.
