Rosenbauer’s rescue stairs

TTControl announced the launch of the high-performance TTC 2000 series of electronic control units (ECU) that are designed from the ground up to meet the needs of intelligent vehicles. The series consists of complete sets of compatible ECU families with different processing power, scalable according to advanced and automated off-highway applications. The first member of this series, the mid-sized TTC 2300 family, will kick off sales in March 2022 (even though Agritechnica has been canceled).

Smart farming is more than a buzz word. By 2050, the global population will have grown by 2 billion to a total of 9.7 billion, according to the United Nations. Increasing agricultural productivity and sustainable food production is critical to provide this population with food. Smart farming achieved through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies can create higher precision agriculture to help meet this demand.

In the past, farmers and contractors with a diverse fleet and implement pool from various manufacturers were not able to bundle machinery data on a single platform. This was solved by the agrirouter cross-manufacturer solution. Data can be easily exchanged between machinery and implements and agricultural software tools.

A rising number of vehicle functions include collision avoidance technologies or crash sensor systems help firemen to do their most fundamental job better: saving lives. However, new functions may introduce new risks owing to increasingly complex electronic interactions.

First high-performance off-highway ECU family certified for road use under ISO 26262 by TTControl

Testing and validation processes typically account for 20 to 30 percent of development costs. The certification of TTControl's off-the-shelf electronic control units reduces these costs and enables faster time to market. The ISO 26262:2018 certification allows the use of the electronic controllers designed for rough operating conditions in road vehicle electrical and electronic (E/E) systems.
